Company History
T he ADEX business origins go back to the owners’ father who started an industrial tape trading and production activity back in the 1960’s after seeing the potential uses in the huge expansion of Italian manufacturing in that decade.
From there the original company over time grew into a major player in the Italian and European market eventually being sold by the family to a group of investors and the core production facility is still existing today.
From the sale the Nicosia family decided to invest in a more niche market and from that decision ADEX Cling was born in the early years of the new century.
The company had a wealth of engineering and technical experience to draw on and designed and modified a series of laminating and cutting machinery to enable it to produce a PVC cling with liner with excellent printing and adhesion properties.
Over the past 20 years the company has established its PVC Cling as a market leading brand across Europe with distributors covering the continent from north to south but with particular emphasis on the major industrial markets of Italy, Germany, Holland, Spain, Poland and the UK.
Over recent years the Pvc Cling has been joined in the range by a PP Electrostatic film (PolyStat) and most recently by a PP double side coated Film (PolyPa) printable in offset and with the most modern digital technologies.
The strength of ADEX is to be found in the consistency of its products and the flexibility and speed of response times in critical moments of the market.
This ability to perform even in difficult market conditions is in turn founded on relationships of trust and professional integrity with both its team of distributors and its long standing suppliers.
